Set up a shared calendar to help organise your families activities

As research has shown recently, working mums are 40% more stressed! Sharing the load with your partner and ensuring there is good communication between the two of you is integral. ⠀ I was given advice from friends a few years ago before I had children and that was to set up a google shared calendar between my husband and I. This made a big difference to knowing what we were doing & when and also saved doubling up! He was also able to take ownership in organizing catch ups with friends as he was able to quickly look at our shared google calendar and reply straight away. We use the saying now “if it’s not in the calendar, then it’s not happening”. ⠀ ⠀ Now with a young child having a shared calendar is more important to help us manage the juggle. It helps us have transparency over our activities and also the schedule for our little man. ⠀

"If it's not in the calendar, then it's not happening"

⠀ You don’t need to use google, but a calendar that allows you to access from multiple devices & multiple people to be able to add an entry. ⠀ ⠀ If you have multiple children, you may wish to colour code the entries so they can quickly see which child is doing what on that day. ⠀ ⠀
