How would you best describe yourself?

Chilled but switched on. Mum and business owner. Relaxed but driven. Dedicated to helping other mums

How has becoming a parent changed your perception of work and career and what surprised you the most?

For a start I never thought I’d be a business owner but have become one to help navigate being a mum. Like many mums I lost myself for a while in the depths of parenting small children but have come out the other side more determined to work on my mindset and carve out my own future. I have surprised myself at how much I want to show my kids that I can build a business as a mum. I want to be a good role model for them and still be available for them.

What advice would you give your younger self about starting a family?

Be prepared to feel a bit lost and make sure you prioritise you. Trust your instincts and don’t worry so much about having to do everything ‘right’. I put so much pressure on myself to have it all perfect.

What has been your biggest challenge in motherhood to date? How have you overcome this?

Accepting that it’s ok to have time for me. If I’m not ok then no one is ok. It’s taken me years to realise that !!
